I'm a full stack web developer based in NYC. I love taking on big challenges, from building web apps from the ground up to training for destination half-marathons. I enjoy working with all parts of the stack, especially manipulating data on the server side and creating clean and intuitive user interfaces on the client side.
I'm currently working as a teaching fellow for the Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy. As my fellowship comes to an end, I am beginning to look for full-time opportunities in web development. Prior to my time at Grace Hopper, I studied biomedical engineering at Columbia University and graduated with a BS. My passion lies in medicine and health tech but I am interested in any and all new challenges in web development.
When I'm not coding, I'm probably running, traveling, doing yoga, or petting cute dogs.
Pusheen Travel is my capstone project from the Grace Hopper Program. Pusheen Travel is a mobile app that gives users the ability to plan and keep track of their trips in a fun game-like way! Users are able to create maps with markers representing the places they'd like to visit on their trip. As the user travels, they can "collect" Pusheen images as they reach each destination on their map.
For my 3-day hackathon project at Grace Hopper, I built CookingBuddy, a virtual recipe book to make online recipes more hands-free. Users can upload a recipe they like, then walk through each step of the recipe on a separate page complete with a timer and how-to videos for any techniques that may be unfamiliar.
The Bling Ring is a full stack e-commerce site built from scratch. It includes products filterable by category, working login, signup, and OAuth capabilities as well as a working cart model built in PostgreSQL.
